Painting my nails these days, needs to be planned in advance like a military operation. I usually opt to do them once Cass is in bed or at nursery – never in-between, it just doesn’t work. I can guarantee the second I paint my nails, then he either wants a snack, a story read to him or just launches himself at me like a NASA rocket! Waiting for my nails to dry and trying to keep him entertained can be a struggle.
I was having a browse on the Marks and Spencer site the other night and came across Nails Inc Paint Can – the world’s first spray-on nail polish. I’m incredibly late to the party as this was launched well over a year ago, but it’s the first I’m hearing of it.
Designed for those short on time, but wanting professional results, this aerosol polish allows you to spray your nails, rinse off the residue and enjoy painted talons in half the time taken to paint them in the traditional way.
Application is easy; cover the surface you plan on painting your nails on with newspaper or an old sheet, apply a basecoat (not totally necessary, but Nails Inc recommend their own – obviously), then shake the paint can and spray onto nails from a distance of 10-15cm. Wait a few minutes for your nails to dry, seal with a topcoat to prolong wear up to four days, and then remove the spray on your skin with warm soapy water or with a cleansing wipe. It’s really that simple and all you need is one coat!

Available in eight shades, there’s bound to be one colour you like. What do yo think? Would you use a product like this, or give it a wide berth?
